Gary started this company in 2007. He is a partner and heads up business development as well as being the field manager of operations. Gary is committed to working with people to coordinate the company’s building projects, bringing all the partners together in a cohesive way, to avoid conflict and enhance the success of their combined effort. In his own time, Gary almost never stops thinking about his job, which is also his passion. When he is not working on contracted projects Gary works with his friends in developing their historical homes, reads historical accounts and novels. He is fascinated with how we got where we are today from the architectural point of view: studying geography, culture and the earliest dwellings that people made for themselves, particularly in Europe. He is most recently studying transitional architecture and the best way to preserve the bones of early architecture with the flow and technology of more modern structures.

We bought a house last year designed and built by Gary. So warm and snug! The outdoor space is spectacular - gorgeous stone and a gas fireplace. Interior has a clean design with all high end finishes... and thoughtfully crafted. The space flows beautifully! We couldn’t be happier with our house!

I've been working with Gary Streck for over 11 years on several projects doing all roof work needs since. I first meet Gary in a project at buckminister rd in brookline and i was very impressed with him and he's team attention to all details , coordination and time line to finish the project on time. 11 years later and over 20 jobs that we worked together is amazing he still running all projects top - notch. Both my self and other sub contractors have been very happy working with him.

Gary is wonderful. He's responsive, reasonable, listens to your ideas, offers his ideas but doesn't force them on you unless he feels strongly that there may be negative consequences to your thoughts. He also patiently explains everything to you as much as you want. He has a great aesthetic. Importantly, he will go to bat for you if you have been wronged by anyone and work to make things right.

Gary helped us with what was - for us - a big project: building a new two-car garage with a green ("Living") roof, revising our home entry driveway and making it heated, reorganizing the landscaping for our front yard, and building a new mudroom/entry in the rear. Gary took care of every detail and issue, kept in contact with us consistently, and made sure we stayed within budget. The project totally updated our 1904 home while fitting into the existing architecture and design. I would happily recommend Gary and would work with him again any time.

Our family home, built 15 years ago, needed extensive exterior renovation work as well as solutions to some infrastructure problems. Gary Streck CRM's strengths are 1) its network of quality contractors with whom its team has a good working relationship and where expectations are high and 2) its ability to coordinate the various teams to do the work and to resolve problems and/or conflicting issues that might arise. While the project has taken a bit longer than we would like, the team is gradually addressing some long-standing, complex shortcomings of the original construction with insight and contractors.

We cannot imagine that any group could have done better in renovating our 1862-built home than Gary Streck CRM, Inc. They oversaw a top-to-bottom refitting of a home that was poorly lit, had knob-and-tube wiring, lacked central air conditioning, and had the original Victorian woodwork (which while beautiful showed the ravages of time). They had access to skilled artisans who brought care and imagination to the thousands of puzzles posed by making a house modern but preserving period detail. Bathrooms were remodeled, a state-of-the-art home theater was created, and a whole floor was reconstructed. Gary Streck CRM kept them on the job, on deadline, and within budget. Always professional and always setting the highest standards for any of the jobs performed. Thanks to them, we know that we live in an historic home but remain warm in the winter, cool in the summer, and well lit. The "Old World" level of craftmanship is evident in every room. It was quite an accomplishment for Gary Streck CRM and worthy of the Golden Prism Award for Best Historic Renovation in 2013.
