Gary Streck
Founder / President
A North Shore native, Gary, has distinguished himself as a premier builder in the Greater Boston area over the years. Starting as a project manager at a prominent Boston builder, Gary later pooled his resources and knowledge together to form Streck Design Build in 2007. Over the years, he has gained a phenomenal reputation as a builder and a restorer of homes in the Brookline MA area. He prides himself on meeting the clients’ expectations, being honest and upfront, being present and commutative throughout the entire project, and impeccable work standards.

Gary has been awarded multiple awards for his work over the years, including the Gold Medal for Best Historic Renovation of 2013 by the BRAGB – Builders and Remodelers Association of Greater Boston, for his historic restoration of the “European Splendor”. One of our favorite projects found under “Projects” on our website.
Every building and home has a look and feel that’s unique to the period it was built. While some see the “quirks” or “flaws” of older homes, Gary sees the stories behind them — the craftsmanship, materials, and design choices that defined their time. He’s dedicated to preserving the bones and character of these homes while thoughtfully updating them for modern living.
Mark DiBattista
Project Manager / Site Superintendent
A Massachusetts native, Mark has lived in Boston for the last 30 years. Mark’s experience in construction management started in 2002, working on the buildout of multiple health club locations in the Boston area and developing a focus on the healthy environment side of building. Mark’s depth of knowledge in multiple disciplines supports all our projects from concept to completion. Since joining SDB, Mark has overseen some of the company’s largest projects. He enjoys exceeding client expectations while strengthening relationships with our subcontractors.

Diego Munhoz

Chris Daley
Assistant Project Manager / Site Superintendent
Our newest team member, Chris, is eager to grow with the company. Born and raised in Boston, he has always admired the beautiful architecture and historic significance of the homes and buildings throughout Greater Boston. With an education and background in corporate finance, Chris brings a strong analytical mindset to SDB, helping streamline and strengthen the construction process. He also has experience working with other General Contractors in the area—both commercial and residential— where he helped implement processes that drove measurable success.
